I started biking as a Telegram Boy on BSA Bantams at 16. My first bike was a 350 Royal Enfield Bullet (ex army) that used to dump it's entire exhaust in the road every few miles! I then owned variously a 650 BSA Gold Flash, and Road Rocket. My favourite was a 1944 WLA that I bobbed and painted Teal and White.

Family intervened for some years, and I came back to biking with a 1964 500cc BSA Star, but Harleys always beckoned, and I got a Sporty, then an Electraglide and now my 2004 Road King Custom, which I am gradually turning into a Classic. I am semi-retired, and keep fairly busy writing and making blackboards for pubs.
